National Tugboat Days
May 24-26, 2001

National tug and towboats - honored for all the work these service vessels do on the seas, lakes, bays and rivers. They have special days to show off in the historic town of Vianen, on the Lek River just south of Utrecht. There was a special pedestrian and bike ferry put in service, and lots of festivities on the different days. River trips on a salon boat, helicopter rides, and themes of the sailing tradition.
