The good holy man visits The Hague every year. He
arrives in the harbor of Scheveningen from Spain, visits the Spanish ambassador,
has a party for very special children, and is the high point of a wonderful
parade to the city center. The "Black Petes" hand out seasonal cookies
to the kids along the parade route.
Downtown on Market Street, he meets the mayor for an interview They discuss how good the children have been during the last year, how they deserve to be honored, and that the parents should visit all the wonderful stores to get nice things for the kids. Then everyone goes shopping!
