Jeffrey Harrod
 

Jeffrey Harrod supervises research in international political economy at the International School for Humanities and Social Science, University of Amsterdam.

As an essayist, academic  and consultant he writes about social and political theory, international political economy, work and labour.  As the publications list provided in the “biodata” section  of this site show he has incorporated these interests within a core of  published writing about the global political economy.

He has taught graduate courses at the University of West Indies, Jamaica, University College, London, University of Colorado and at the Institute of Social Studies in the Hague Netherlands where he was professor and Deputy Rector.  After a period as Research Co-ordinator at the Labour Studies Institute, International Labour Organisation, in Geneva he was permanent consultant for research and publications for a global trade union federation.
