My name is Cornelia de Brabander, born on the 10th of January 1953 (Capricorn!) in Scheveningen that's near Den Haag, where I live at this moment. I have been always creative and I was always good in doing needlework. When I was only five years old, I was knitting and sewing doll clothes. Around the age of twelth I made complete outfits for a doll like Barbie. One year later I made my first blouse. On highschool I have made my first teddy bear in the needlework class. A teddy bear made of cotton fabric and he could only sit.  After finishing school I did a lot with drawing and painting.  In my spare time I make my own clothing and I do a lot of other form of creativity.  Like origami, making X-mas Cards, embroidery etc.. Everything I can make, I fix it. And if I cannot make it, than I'll try till I can fix it. In 1990 I took the initiative to make teddy bears.  I always loved teddy bears and I also collect them. The first four teddy bears were made out of a old coat and the pattern was one of  a cotton teddy bear out of a magazine.And yes, the development goes very quickly.  Soon after those four bears I started to design my teddy bears. Not only teddy bears, sometimes I make other animals too. I make also large teddy bears  and mini bears. But I love to make mini bears. The result I can see much sooner.  In June 1996 I was with my 'Christmas Teddy Bear' in the American bear  magazine Teddy Bear and Friends'.  And in June 1997 I was with 'Halloween' in the American bear  magazine 'Teddy Bear and Friends' too.  In June 1999 I was with 'Jewel' in the American bear  magazine 'Teddy Bear and Friends'. In June 2000 I was with 'Inchie' in the American bear  magazine 'Teddy Bear and Friends'. Besides making teddy bears and being creative, I also love reading, drawing and computers.
