Ferwall (1975)
Starting place: Zeinisjoch Hs.
In 1975 we took a taxi from Tschagguns, passed the Bieler Höhe on the
Silvretta Hochalpen Straße and reached the Zeinisjoch Hs (1822m). From here a
we made a three day tour in the Ferwall.
The precise route:
- Neue Heilbronner Ht (2320), an easy walk. Half an hour before
reaching the hut, I was told that my brother Geert was waiting there,
which was indeed the case.
- Konstanzer Ht (1765m): my wife Corrie and most of the others of our group
took the Schönverwalltal way to reach the hut. Geert and I, as well as a third one of
our group went via the Wannen Joch (2633m; Bruckmannweg), at the south side of
the Patteriol. Here, we found a lot of snow. A rather large
brook we had to cross on bare foots, which was very cold.
- Friedrichshafener Ht (2150m), via the Fasultal and
Schafbühel Joch (2636m). From here we went to the Silvretta, via Galtür.
Silvretta (1975, 1976)
In 1975 we stayed at the Madlener Hs (1986m) on the Bieler Höhe
and made trips to the Wiesbadner
Ht (2443m) and to the Saarbrücker Ht (2538m), both nicely located huts.
In 1976 we started at the Madrisa Ht (1698m) in Gargellen:
- Tübinger Ht (2191m), via Vergaldner Joch (2515m).
- Madlener Hs (1986m), via Hochmaderer Joch (2505m).
Because of the not optimal weather condition we returned to the
Rätikon and
finished our holiday in the Heinrich Hueter Ht.
