Live performance history: Regularly played (often as opening song) from August 1987 until July 1988. A few times after that. Surprisingly, Nick and Mick decided to play this song on US TV in January 1990 in the Night Music show. Nick sang this song with Tim Rose at a Tim Rose concert in London on 15/10/96.
Other artists' versions: Numerous people, but Nick's version is inspired by Tim Rose's version, and the first band that recorded the song are The Leaves.

Live performance history: Played once in 1985, then there is a soundcheck performance from Wien, 10/5/87 where Nick accompanies himself on the guitar. Finally, as one of the songs in the encore, Cindy was played in a large part of the 1990 tours. Also performed on BBC TV's Late Show in that year.
