The Modern Diet and its Consequences

From the lightnet team

One of the reasons that  so many people get sick from the modern diet is  the consumption of refined flour and grains. This is promoted by the dairy, sugar, meat and fast food industry. On the table below you can see all the nutrients that are lost when our grains gifted to us in perfect balance by nature has been refined by human hands. It is therefore no wonder that more and more people are becoming dependent on drugs struggling hard to keep their bodies functioning.  Add to this the lack of fibers in the modern diet which is needed so that our system can process the activities of digestion and elimination in a smooth natural way.

The World Pharmaceutical Organisation (WFO), disguised as the World Health Organisation (WHO), in conjunction with their partners of the Food, Agriculture and World Trade Organisations are interested that people stay ignorant and confused about how to maintain their health and well being. They all function under the umbrella of the United nations.

The WHO issues about 200 recommendations every year, acting as a public health arbiter to the global community. Every government in the world pays a fee to the WHO to get nicely misinformed. And where does the government get the money from? From you and me! The governments pass this information then on to their respective Ministries of Health. From there the guidelines go down the ladder to the corresponding health departments of each state.  Recommendations about diet are provided by dieticians who have been educated by the meat, sugar and dairy industry. Recommendations about vaccines, fluoride, cancer treatments and so on are provided by the pharmaceutical captains. Wherever you go you will pretty much see the same recommendations and guidelines. It is organized in such a way to make sure that people get the treatment they don´t need in most of the cases. In this way we are subtly imprisoned and unaware of the fact that there is an official depopulation program going on whose purpose is to eliminate two thirds of the world population.

The Big Picture

The United Nations was formed in 1945 after the collapse of the League of Nations. An international organization, its membership comprises virtually every country in the world. The UN sits at the head of a large number of affiliated organizations, amongst which are the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Pharmaceutical Executives have direct access to the Secretary General of the UN, and the UN has committed itself to collaborating with the pharmaceutical industry.

WHO scientific fraud

WHO issues about 200 sets of recommendations every year, acting as a public health arbiter to the global community by sifting through competing scientific theories and studies to put forth the best policies. WHO's Director of Research Policy Dr. Tikki Pang said that some of his WHO colleagues were shocked by The Lancet's study, but he acknowledged the criticism had merit, and explained that time pressures and a lack of both information and money sometimes compromised WHO work. "We know our credibility is at stake," Pang said, "and we are now going to get our act together." WHO officials also noted that, in many cases, evidence simply did not exist.

Data from developing countries are patchy at best, and in an outbreak, information changes as the crisis unfolds. This is a pretty serious indictment of an organization whose UN mandate says this: WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. It is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends. Think about this the next time our governments overreact to a health threat like bird flu or SARS because of a WHO recommendation

The danger of pharmaceuticals

Prescription drugs are now the 4rd leading cause of death in America. FDA-approved
pharmaceuticals are killing at least 100,000 Americans a year right now, and just one diabetes drug recently scrutinized for its health effects was reported by Dr. David Graham, a senior FDA drug safety researcher, to have likely killed more than 80,000 Americans! That's more Americans than died  in the entire Vietnam War, and this is from but one drug.

Almost nothing is killing Americans faster than prescription drugs: Not terrorists, not war, not chemicals in the food, car accidents or drunk driving. Only cancer and strokes kill more Americans, and even in those cases, death is accelerated by the side effects of the pharmaceuticals used to treat those diseases (chemotherapy is especially toxic and causes tremendous harm to the liver, kidneys  and brain). Pharmaceuticals are so universally dangerous to the health and safety of Americans that if they were herbs, they would have all  been outlawed years ago.

It is a curious sign of the times that the mainstream media, which receives billions of dollars in advertising from drug companies, now finds itself in the business if misinforming Americans, trying to convince them that day is night, up is down, and nutrition is dangerous. War is peace, ignorance is strength and freedom is tyranny. It's right out of the book 1984 by George Orwell, and sadly, it has become reality with the mainstream media today.

AVOID REFINED FLOUR PRODUCTS-TO KEEP YOUR IMMUNIY INTACT!

As an example;
Be aware of the nutrients lost in refining wheat flour.
When whole wheat flour is milled into white flour , much of the germ (embryo), bran, and surface endosperm are removed. As a result, the flour loses most of its energy and vitality as well as its natural oils and nutrients. Though a few of the vitamins and minerals are returned in enriching, the resulting quality is not the same.

The “bells and whistles” in whole grains are the many nutrients, including phytochemicals and antioxidants, that are missing from refined grains. These nutrients help to fight a number of diseases including:

Studies show that people who regularly eat whole grains reduce their risk for all of these diseases. Research also suggests that whole grains may be even better than fruits and vegetables as a source of key nutrients for fighting disease.

This table below shows the typical loss of nutrients in producing white flour

Nutrient Loss% Nutrient Loss%
Thiamimine (B1) 77.1 Riboflavin (B2) 80.0
Niacin 80.8 Vitamin (B6) 71.8
Pantothenic acid 50.0 Vitamin E 86.3
Calcium 60.0 Phosphorous 70.9
Magnesium 84.7 Potasium 77.0
Sodium 78.3 Chromium 40.0
Manganese 85.8 Iron 75.6
Cobalt 88.5 Zinc 77.7
Copper 67.9 Selenium 15.9
Molybdenum 48.0

Whole and refined grains – what’s the difference?

Despite their “new” presence on supermarket shelves and restaurant menus, whole grains, such as brown rice and quinoa, predate refined grains, such as white rice and refined white flour, by thousands of years. The process of refining grain on a grand scale is a relatively recent one made possible only by technological advancements.

You can think of a whole grain as a three-part package:

Bran (outer layer) - This outer layer is packed with fiber, trace minerals, phytochemicals, and B vitamins. 50-80 percent of the grain’s minerals and other health-promoting plant substances called phytochemicals are contained in the bran.

Germ (inner layer) - This inner layer is rich in antioxidants, phytochemicals, B vitamins, vitamin E, and trace minerals, as well as containing healthy unsaturated fats.

Endosperm (middle layer) - This middle layer contains complex carbohydrates and protein. It also contains small amounts of B vitamins.

When a whole grain is processed in order to make a refined grain, two parts of the package - the bran and germ – are removed, leaving only the endosperm. In this process, 25 percent of the protein is removed along with at least 17 key nutrients. The refined grain also has five to seven times less fiber than the whole grain.

No wonder so many people suffer from constipation!
